XLVets Ireland Require a Full-Time Office and Marketing Administrator

    We are seeking to recruit a full-time Office & Marketing Administrator to join a small executive team based in our new office, Newport, Co Tipperary. The role holder will provide office & marketing administration support to the business.

    Location: Newport, Co. Tipperary

    This role holder will temporarily work remotely in line with current government Covid-19 restriction, in addition to ongoing flexible working conditions.

    The Role:

    This Office and Marketing Administrator will support the day-to-day administration function of the XLVets Ireland office. The role holder will also support the management team in the delivery of the XLVets Ireland marketing plan. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a team environment, demonstrating personal initiative and a commitment to work to the highest standards.


    • Manage the timely and accurate updating of all XLVets digital platforms.
    • Develop a social media content plan.
    • Create marketing collateral applying brand standards.
    • Maintain brand consistency across all stakeholders.
    • Co-ordination and planning of member communications across multiple platforms.
    • Organising and planning all member content on SharePoint.
    • Co-ordinate, plan, and support XLVets events including committee meetings, forums, CPD, training, marketing, and celebratory events.
    • Manage virtual and in person events, in line with agreed timelines and budget.
    • Collate and prepare PowerPoint presentation materials for events and meetings ensuring accuracy of content and application of company brand guidelines.
    • Co-ordination and administrative support of multiple committee meetings including collation of agenda, minutes and data management.
    • Support the procurement function through efficient and timely updating of support materials and administration.
    • Promotion and management of the XLVets Skillnet training programme & events, including liaising with trainers and co-ordination of content management.
    • Updating XLVets on-demand learning resources, including updating content and driving engagement by trainees.

    The Person:

    • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time.
    • Strong communicator and problem-solving ability.
    • Methodical with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritise effectively and work within tight deadlines.
    • Energetic and enthusiastic disposition.
    • Highly self-motivated and ability to work off own initiative and independently.
    • Strong IT skills to include MS Office, SharePoint, marketing software, are desirable.
    • Experience in marketing, office administration and event management are desirable.
    • Qualification in marketing and/ or administration will be an advantage.
