Mike Curran becomes General Manager Ireland of XLVets Ireland Ltd.

    XLVets Ireland Ltd., announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Mike Curran as General Manager Ireland, effective immediately.  Curran previously held the position of Head of Sales, Operations, I.T. and Project Management in Hickey’s Pharmacies, an Irish owned group of retail pharmacies.

    Mike Curran joins XLVets as an experienced senior manager, with extensive experience in the service, airline, retail and pharmacy industries, driving value through the design & management of change in sales, people, culture, communication, processes & infrastructure.  Having achieved a 1st in a Master of Business Studies in 2017, Curran continued education with Project Management in UL, Negotiating for Value in Trinity, Leadership with the IRFU and Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma.  Notable achievements include a Top 1% MBS result, published peer viewed article in the International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management, conference speaker, winner best pharmacy Ireland, winner national retail store Ireland, runner-up store manager of the year.  A keen interest in achieving the best results through efficiency & simplicity.  In his downtime, Curran, living in Co. Clare, enjoys food, achieving finalist Masterchef Ireland, coaching Rugby and Football teams, running, swimming, fishing, boats and all adventures outdoors.
