    A very successful XL Vets event, with the theme of Business Growth in 2011 was held in Tullamore, January 20 - 22. The event saw the launch of two new initiatives - one in the area of Herd Fertility Programmes for the large animal sector and the second - a Senior Pet Care initiative for companion animals. Some of the attendees are pictured below:

    XLVet SucklerCheck is a programme of diagnostic tests and reports that provides suckler and beef farmers with a comprehensive picture of their herds’ health status. Farmers can use this picture to create a health management plan that is tailored to their herd. This will save farmers time and money.

    XLVet member practices, suppliers and guests attended a Skillnet networking event at Shelbourne Park on 7th of December:

    XLVets Skillnet organised a modular training programme for veterinary practices covering communication, customer service, teamwork and leadership. The course delivery was led by Eleanor O'Kelly Lynch of Golden Apple Training. Here are some pictures from the final module:
